I thought I'd throw together a little help thread to shed some light on what we have introduced so far so we can interact with different races appropriately IC!
Playable Races: Human, Clone, Android, Cyborg, Eden, Half-Eden, Kindred, Mokuru, Vetghast
Non-Playable Races: Pure Eden, Factor, Deus
Humans: The natural race of Redeemer, humans originated from the planet Earth. Since the destruction of their home planet due to excess use of resources, mankind has taken to the stars in various space colonies thanks to the Eden race. Due to their large numbers, humans can be found in both major factions, residing in most colonies.
Eden: An alien race, and the forerunners of all mankind, the Eden appear very human. Unlike humans, however, the Eden possess incredibly long lifespans - as much as 1000 years - allowing them to advance far beyond that of their Earthling counterparts. They originate from the planet Gan Eden, which was destroyed half a century ago in an unknown cataclysm. Eden, while available to both factions, are more likely to be among the Harbinger Union. Eden possess a sixth sense, allowing them to identify other Eden without being told.
Vetgeist: Another alien race, the Vetgeist are much different than the others one would encounter in the galaxy. Originating from the Taurus Galaxy, the Vetgeist are a reptilian race who hold to a structure similar to that of ancient Sparta. They are warriors through and through, bred and trained for combat. All Vetgeist have superb strength and unparalleled night-vision compared to the other races of Redeemer. Characters of this race may only serve under the Ebonheart Empire, per their nations treaty with the Jupiter-based faction.
Mokuru: The Mokuru are a race of animal-like beings from deep within the Sol Galaxy. While appearing largely human, the Mokuru also share traits - both physical and otherwise - with various types of animals that may have been encountered on Earth. Some are feline, others are canine. There are reports of some reptilian and avian varieties among them as well. Mokuru, like humans, are free to join any faction. Samantha Collins & Souji Kobayashi are excellent examples of Mokuru.
Kindred: A race that are considered "bugs" in the galaxy, the Kindred are an important part of life for all in the galaxy. They are perfect for almost anything, ranging from farming to military work, and even piloting. The Kindred in the Taurus Galaxy were dominated in the early years of the Vetgeist Empire, being augmented with machines and creating sentient mobile suits capable of being piloted. All Kindred appear as androids covered in armor, with a mask/helmet combination over their heads. This is not armor, and is in fact their exoskeleton. Kindred, like the Vetghast, are very physically powerful.
Clones: Clones of any of the above races. They are much like their natural counterparts in every way, they were just created rather than born.
Cyborg: Cyborgs are beings created from a biological frame, be it human or any of Redeemer's other races. They should not be confused with Androids, which are robots created to appear human. These beings are very much human, but have mechanical parts integrated into their bodies to enhance their capabilities.
Android: Unlike their Cyborg counterparts, Androids are completely robotic, but made to appear human. They tend to be monotonous, almost unfeeling, making them excellent candidates for some military ventures. Androids are essentially immortal, capable of being remade or repaired.
