MACHINA NAME Temjin Type a9H
Name: VR-747-a9H Temjin a9H
Class: P-Class
Operator(s): Harbinger Union, Leo Kent
Overall Height: 15.52
Accommodations: Pilot Only
Technology & Combat Characteristics
While created to serve as a high speed mobile assault unit, the Type a9H Temjin features a additional "Bulwark" heavy armor jacket system. Although the extra armor and weaponry slows down the speedy Temjin a9, it does grant the Temjin extra protection and survivablity, a trait that is often desired on the battlefield. Should the armor be too damaged in combat, it can be easily purged, although the a9h will lose the use of its missile launcher and rail cannon, while gaining back its original combat speed and mobility.
Given its role as a spearhead attack unit, the Temjin a9 appears to modestly armed, sans its armor jacket, but appearances can be deceptive. It's only weapon, the massive "MWG KRSW" twin rifle can split into 2 separate rifles that can be carried in each hand. But that is not all the weapon can do. In addition to its normal plasma rifle mode, the weapon can switch into a massive plasma edged greatsword capable of cleaving a Machina in half, or fire a heavy plasma cannon-esque attack, which is just as devastating to anything not adequately protected that is caught in its line of fire.

History
Given the fact that the unit has only just completed its construction phase and not seen any actual combat, other than mock combat simulations, the Temjin a9 is highly anticipated to perform well on the battlefield, given it specifications and numerous situational simulations that were run. Although it should be noted that it is a touch unusual for a PMC unit to request for a custom designed unit, instead of retrofitting one of the currently existing Machina available to such formations, possibly hinting deeper pockets than anticipated, or some kind of backroom deal. Only time will tell if the Temjin a9 will perform as expected.
