Coming across as a taciturn person, Leo prefers to act more and speak less, most of the time. And professionalism is a big part of his mercenary code, putting the mission objective first, and knowing when to retreat and cut their losses.

Leo is broad minded to an extent, when it comes to the numerous and varied alien races in the Sol System, bearing no ill will towards them, although he is intrigued by their respective racial technologies.

• Achieve fame,wealth and prominance with his mercenary unit

The wayward son of Josephine Magus, younger sister of famed industrialist James Magnus and wife of Marcus Kent, Leo seemed destined to be in trouble since the day he was born. Not a day passed without the youth coming back from class with some kind of scuffle evident on his person. As such, frequent parent-teacher meetings were a norm for much of Leo's academic life. It came as no particular surprise that the lad soon learned to fight back, while developing a reputation for himself, which led to even more scuffles among the other ruffians about the area. Resigned to the situation, the Kents took young Leo out of the academic system, hiring a number of tutors to finish his education.

With no real desire for tertiary education, the young man surprised his parents with a desire to serve in the Union miltary, owing to the results of an aptitude test he took at a recruitment center, out of curiosity. It was with great reluctance on his parents part that they allowed him to join. But even the regular Union military would present its own unique set of problems for the young man. Although his Basic training was relatively uneventful, it was when Leo arrived at his active combat unit, did problems occur. Exposing a case of internal corruption, Leo was taken quite aback when he was honorably discharged for that action, inspite of his flawless service record.

Greatly aggravated, the young man nosed about, soon gathering a cadre of like minded individuals who had no real love for the military, and were willing to work for the almighty dollar. Despite started with decomissioned equipment, the team was shrewd enough to negotiate sharply on contracts, while building up a network of contacts for themselves. As such, they were able to upgrade their assets and equipment to standards comparable to that of Union military front line units, while attracting talent. Oddly enough, one of these individuals was his cousin Evangeline, who was on the run from her own set of problems.

Moving about the Earth Sphere, the unit eventually landed up in Union Colony Cluster, as part of the expansive garrison there, to protect the Cluster from the frequent pirate attacks in the area. It is assumed that barring unusual circumstances, the unit would remain at Cluster for the duration of their contract.
