Modular Long Range - Normal Machina Series Zero Model One (01) Aquarius is the pinnacle of basic Machina Technology driven to its highest without compromising on the integrity in which the machine may operate within a number of roles. The frame itself is based on the highly modular frame type that is the ESC-M01-CT ORAGE, but the design here has been completely reworked to fit more around that idea. The Aquarius itself features slightly less armor than the original ORAGE design in order to cut back on weight, but leaves necessary armor in important places like the torso and joints. The rest of the frame has slightly lower armor value than the rest of the body from there, but can still take a shot or two before damages starts to become quite obvious. However, the Aquarius is not meant for frontline assaults, rather, it is meant to provide long range support via sniper or missile support equipment.
This Machina features a number of systems and equipment types to carry out various combat roles. The Aquarius primarily operates as a long range support machine that can provide pin-point accuracy from very great distances. The use of the sniper rifles, both ballistic and beam, enables the Aquarius to respond to a variety of targets from warships to fortress walls that are too thick for simple machine guns or beam rifles to pierce. However, should there be a need for a more collateral approach, the machine may switch to bombardment operations and equip one of two types of missile launchers. The micro-missile pods provide high numbers of maneuverable missiles at the cost of strength and range, but can swarm a target to make up for that. The Dual Missile Racks provide anti-ship and fortress options that can cripple higher armored targets with high explosive power at the cost of the missiles being slower and bulkier compared to the micro-missiles. These launchers CANNOT be reloaded during battle and require reload assistance from a warship or a base. Anti-ship operations can also be achieved by equipping the Anti-Ship Rifle, the rounds from this weapon pierce the target before exploding into molten pellets and shrapnel inside the targets body, crippling ships and fortresses from the inside and out.
All of this is defended by the Aquarius' multiple systems such as high range sensors which a long range unit would probably have by default and a Carbon Mantel that is woven metal materials into a chain-link armor, useful for defending against ballistics and even small arms fire. The Low Power Marksmen System also provides a stealth ability, causing the machine to go into a low power use mode which is useful for when equipped with the 120mm Sniper Rifle and Carbon Mantel. This provides reduced emissions and boosts sensor range by 3.4 Kilometers, but makes the Aquarius a sitting duck if discovered as it takes a minute or so to go from this system to being fully active again. In sticky situations or situations requiring a timely arrival, there is the Over Boost system which over clocks the Thrusters for a very high output, but a fail safe will disengage the Over Boost after five minutes of use to avoid blowing out the engines. In the event the Aquarius must also defend itself from missiles or lock on weapons, the Anti-Missile Launcher Pods can deploy decoys, flares, chaff and even smaller rocket type explosives in order to disrupt lock-on's or redirect missiles.

The Aquarius is part of a new Millennium Series of Machina provided by the Ebonheart Empire to their defensive military forces. Though this is a Military Class Machina developed for anyone to use, it was developed for the purpose of defending the homelands from invaders weather the aggressors are the United Nations of Earth and their Harbinger friends or mercenaries and pirates. The Aquarius provides long range tactical support for taking on enemy forces and has received high remarks for being very reliable.
