Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Sempiternal is an awe inspiring machine. Created using a rare blue steel harvested from the deep reaches of the Sol System, this Machina has more than earned it's nickname as the Blue Terror of Ebonheart under the control of Klein Choshek. The Sempiternal boasts as a G-Class Machina, outperforming many M-Class units seen on the field today. Originally created for Miori Ebonheart, the Sempiternal is outfitted with an experimental drive utilizing power from the Pieces of Eden, giving the suit nigh-unlimited energy - much like a standard nuclear fission reactor. Use of the Piece of Edens' power was done simply to test alternative energy sources and cut pollution to a bear minimum. However, without the energy from the Pieces of Eden, the Sempiternal would never be able to activate it's most powerful offensive weapon - the Eight Heavenly Blue - a set of eight wings mounted on it's back.
For weaponry, the Sempiternal possesses two automatic pistols, each with an anti-amor blade mounted on the barrel for close quarters combat. There is an optional 12-tube missile launcher, which is mounted on it's back, in addition to two high-output beam rifles which are mounted on the back of it's waist. It also has access to four of it's twenty katanas, sixteen of which are stored within the binders and only accessible when the Eight Heavenly Blue are activated. After activating the energy of the Pieces of Eden, the Sempiternal also has access to more powerful weaponry - including two hyper-accelerated positron launchers.
Upon activating the Heavenly Blue, the Sempiternals wing binders come undone, and all eight wings fan out. Within each wing are two additional katana, as well as various small thrusters for added speed and mobility. When in this mode, the Sempiternal emits a deep humming sound that has been likened to a choir of angels, and it begins to glow a gold color. The Machina exceeds max output, allowing the Sempiternal to reach incredible speeds and deliver powerful attacks in sheer seconds, the most dangerous of which is the Shadow Moses - a series of quick strikes delivered after trapping an enemy within it's binders. Because of the immense power that comes with this, the Heavenly Blue can only be activated by Miori Ebonheart when she is within a certain distance of the Machina. It is a force one should only reckon with in their nightmares, and a true fantasy to behold. As such, Miori - as well as many others within the Empire - refer to this mode as the Fantasy Program.

The EGX-Z0 "SEMPITERNAL" is a General-Class Machina initially created for Miori Ebonheart following several failed testings of the Noblesse Oblige. The unit is equipped with an array of powerful weapons, as well as the unique Eden Overdrive System, casually referred to as the "Fantasy Program" by Empress Ebonheart. The EOS can only be activated when Miori Ebonheart is around, due to her possession of the Icon of Eden on her hand. Following the death of her father and the merging of Helghast with the Empire, Miori gifted the Sempiternal to Klein Choshek. Worth noting is that, once it reaches a certain level of low power, the Sempiternal will begin to shut down and become useless - requiring a tow to get back to base and charge.
